Slumdog Metal

“Doch Chkae” means “like a dog” in Khmer. And this is also the name of a death metal band founded by two orphans from the slums of Phnom-Phen. The Chinese director Renxiu Zhao and the German music journalist Fabian Peltsch have transferred an article by Peltsch into a short documentary. Result: Invitation to Wacken! But that’s another story!
