The film portrays the Go-Go’s, the first all-female band, who made it into the Top 10 with their own compositions in the early 1980s and who even topped the US album charts with their debut LP “The Beauty and the Beat”, for over a year. Almost 40 years later, the common memory: a lot of archive material, lively pop-punk, but above all the attempt to keep a straight face and to treat each other with respect and solidarity.
